Ibikunle Amosun is a Nigerian politician who was elected as Senator for the Ogun Central district of Ogun State, Nigeria in April 2003. In 2015, he begin his second term as the Governor of Ogun State under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He got married to his wife, Dr. Olufunso Amosun in 1991. Today, September 8, is the couple’s 25th wedding anniversary. Dr. Amosun posted pictures of the couple on her offical Instagram with the caption: “It’s been an amazing 25 years! Thank You Lord”. See photo below:
Earlier in 2016, Dr. Amosun revealed she was a Christian until she met and fell in love with Governor Amosun. After which, she became a practicing Muslim because that is her husband’s religion.
Congrats to the lovely couple. It is clear she made a good choice to let him into her heart because 25 years down the line, they are still standing strong.
