Nigerian youths turn 'beggars' on social media

In recent times, we have seen the power social media has in influencing most decisions we make. It is said that these days, social media can either make or mar you.

Even though we have seen many people rise to prominence through social media, we have also seen people be all over the news for the worst reasons.

Jobs have been gotten through social media, and the most scandalous stories have also been circulated through the aid of this same platform.

However in recent times, it seems the youth of today are fast joining the bandwagon of soliciting for ‘help’ Twitter and Instagram and the likes. Checkout these screenshots below, where two young people can be seen asking politicians for ‘help’, using ‘retweets’ as an influencer for the decision the ‘helper’ has to make:

This guy got himself a one month internship with an oil company and even managed to score himself a shout out from the MD himself:

Who can forget how this Twitter user got himself a date with popular billionaire’s daughter, Dj Cuppy?
